To round off a perfect day we are hosting an After Signing Charity Darker Ball in the evening.
A chance to meet authors and friends in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
(Not all Authors are attending the ball)
Ball 7.30pm Start – 12.30pm
Dinner will be at the Holiday Inn same as the signing and starts at 7.30pm Dinner will be served at 8pm.
The ball will include a 3 course dinner, coffee and mints with a DJ, photographer and some extra touches.
There will be a large bar that will be in the ballroom and open until 12.30 am with the residents bar open until 2am.
Dress code will be DARK & formal….. think gothic wedding 😉
We will be having a charity raffle and donating a the money raised from the Photographers sales to a chosen charity.(yet to be picked)
The menu is excellent, you would have two choices for each course which we would need to know in advance and if you have any dietary needs we need to cover please let us know.
A form will be sent to you directly for your meal choices a month before the event.
Duck and Orange Pate with fruit chutney and bread
Buffalo mozzarella with sliced plum tomato and dressed with basil oil -v
Supreme of chicken with pancetta and red wine sauce, served with baby roast potatoes, glazed carrots a spinach scone and buttered cauliflower
Potato, onion , spinach and dolcellatte roulade with chunky fresh tomato sauce , served with filo basket of broccoli with cheese and butter sauce , glazed carrots and croquette potatoes – v
Lemon meringue with chantilly cream
Profiterole with toffee sauce and drizzled with chocolate
Coffee and Mints
Disco and Bar
Photographer with all proceeds going to our chosen charity which are yet to pick
